ABOUT SHARON
The person behind
the work.
Sharon Weiss has spent her life helping people find their footing. This is how she got here. and what she built from everything she learned.
IN HER OWN WORDS
I've spent my life at the intersection of learning and becoming.
I'm Sharon Weiss — a certified life coach, former educator, and someone who has sat on both sides of what it means to need support and not know where to start.
I spent over three decades inside schools, watching what happened when people had the right person in their corner. And what happened when they didn't. That shaped everything about how I work today.
Now I work one-on-one with adults — via Zoom, from wherever they are — helping them move through overwhelm, grief, career crossroads, and the quiet weight of a life that's gotten harder than expected.

SHARON'S STORY
CHAPTER ONE
The educator — 37 years of showing up.
Sharon began her career as a classroom teacher in Long Beach, New York — spending 28 years at East Elementary School before moving into leadership as an Assistant Principal. Over 33 years in the Long Beach school district, she worked with students at every stage, mentored dozens of new teachers, and built a reputation as the kind of educator people remember for the rest of their lives. After retiring from the district in 2021, she became a field supervisor at Molloy University — mentoring graduate student teachers — and a case manager at the Adult Learning Center in Long Beach, working alongside adults navigating education, employment, and the transitions in between. That shift from children to adults wasn't accidental. It was a recognition that the need for guidance doesn't age out.
CHAPTER TWO
The loss — when everything changed.
In November 2021, Sharon lost her son Andrew — suddenly, unexpectedly, and completely. Grief has a way of clarifying what matters. It also has a way of making the tools you've spent decades teaching others feel suddenly, urgently personal. Sharon applied everything she knew — about structure, small steps, and finding your footing when the ground has shifted — to her own life. In doing so, she understood her clients in a way no credential could have taught her. She has written about that experience for the COPE Foundation, an organization supporting bereaved parents, and that piece is available if you'd like to read more of her story in her own words.
CHAPTER THREE
The pivot — toward the work that chose her.
EF Coaching Plus was born from a simple truth: adults need the same kind of patient, personalized, skills-based support that Sharon had spent her career giving to learners of all ages — and almost no one was offering it in a way that felt genuinely human. Sharon took everything she had learned, everything she had lived, and built a framework for helping adults move forward. She called it the Weiss Method. And it begins on the very next page of this story.
EF Coaching Plus offers three distinct areas of coaching
life and executive functioning, career, and educator support.
What unites all three is the way Sharon works.
That approach has a name.
THE WEISS METHOD
Five pillars. One promise.
Wisdom for every step forward.
The Weiss Method is Sharon's approach to one-on-one coaching — developed across 37 years of working with people at every stage of life, and shaped by everything she has personally lived through. It is not a program. It is not a formula. It is a way of being present with another person until they find their way. One step at a time.

◉
LOOK BENEATH
The struggle is rarely about what it looks like on the surface.
Clutter is rarely about clutter. A stalled career is rarely just about the job. Sharon is trained to see what others miss. Every session begins by listening for what's underneath, because that's where the real work is.
02
◉
ONE STEP COMPOUNDS
Small shifts change everything around them.
One organized morning leads to one clearer decision. One honest conversation leads to a door opening. The Weiss Method never asks for everything at once — it asks for one thing, done well, and then watches what happens next.
03
◉
NO JUDGMENT, EVER
Adults deserve permission to not have it all together.
Every person who comes to Sharon is capable, intelligent, and doing their best under real pressure. There is no version of your story that will surprise or alarm her. This is a space where you can be exactly where you are — and then move forward from there.
04
◉
WISDOM FROM THE INSIDE
Some things can only be learned by living them.
Sharon has applied everything she teaches to her own life — through loss, through reinvention, through starting over. The wisdom she brings to every session isn't borrowed from a textbook. It comes from the inside. That's what makes it real.

THE RELATIONSHIP IS THE WORK
Trust built one honest session at a time.
Sharon remembers what you told her last week. She celebrates what you think is too small to mention. She holds the vision for you on the days you can't hold it yourself. The Weiss Method works because the relationship does — and that relationship starts from the very first call.
"Wisdom for every step forward."

WHAT TO EXPECT
What a session with Sharon actually feels like.
You will feel heard — immediately
Sharon listens before she speaks. Every session starts with where you actually are, not where she assumes you should be.
It will be practical, not theoretical
No worksheets for the sake of worksheets. Every tool and strategy is built around your specific life and your specific obstacles.
You will leave with something concrete
Every session ends with a clear next step. Not a vague intention — an actual, doable thing to move forward with.
You will not be judged
Sharon has seen it all and felt much of it herself. There is nothing you can bring to a session that will surprise or alarm her.
